Cakes
- Toothpicks, wires, styrofoam balls and skewers are used for support within sculpted elements on your cake. Remove inedible items prior to consuming.
- All cakes contain a central dowel. Do not push anyones face into the cake as they can be seriously injured.
- Cakes use dowels for support as well as a board between layers for 4" cakes, tiered, and double barrel cakes. Slice cake from top down and remove dowels as you come across them.
- Dark coloured buttercream may temporarily stain teeth and mouth and have a slightly bitter taste (red, black and other deep colours.)
- Cakes must be refrigerated until 2-3 hours prior to serving.
- Keep cakes level at all times.
- Remove cake from fridge 2-3 hours prior to serving and allow to sit at room temperature until servings (Do not leave cake outside, room temperature should be between 20-23C)
- If you have cake left over, it can be kept in an airtight container in the fridge for a week or in the freezer for up to two months. Remove from freezer and allow to come to room temperature before consuming.
Cupcakes, Cake Donuts and Meringues
- Keep at room temperature, do not refrigerate.
- Can be kept at room temperature for up to 3 days in an airtight container (add a piece of bread with cookies to keep them soft!)
- Can be frozen in an airtight container for up to 2 months.
Macarons, Bars and Brownies
- Serve at room temperature (bring to room temperature 2-3 hours prior to serving)
- Keep in the fridge for up to a week
- Freeze for up to 2 months in an airtight container
Cakepops
- Refrigerate until serving
- Take out and leave at room temperature for 15 minutes before serving
