Toothpicks, wires, styrofoam balls and skewers are used for support within sculpted elements on your cake. Remove inedible items prior to consuming.
All cakes contain a central dowel. Do not push anyones face into the cake as they can be seriously injured.
Cakes use dowels for support as well as a board between layers for 4" cakes, tiered, and double barrel cakes. Slice cake from top down and remove dowels as you come across them.
Dark coloured buttercream may temporarily stain teeth and mouth and have a slightly bitter taste (red, black and other deep colours.)
Cakes must be refrigerated until 2-3 hours prior to serving.
Keep cakes level at all times.
Remove cake from fridge 2-3 hours prior to serving and allow to sit at room temperature until servings (Do not leave cake outside, room temperature should be between 20-23C)
If you have cake left over, it can be kept in an airtight container in the fridge for a week or in the freezer for up to two months. Remove from freezer and allow to come to room temperature before consuming.
