A non-refundable, non-transferable retainer of 50% is required to confirm your order. If you have not placed a retainer, you do NOT have a confirmed order. The retainer is applied to the total amount due. The remaining 50% will be due a minimum of 1 week before pickup. It is your responsibility to make the final payment. If full payment is not received one week prior to the event date the order will be incomplete and cancelled, the deposit will not be refunded. All weekend pickup times are between 9:00am-11:00am. All weekday pickup times are between 12:00pm-5:00pm unless otherwise discussed. There is a minimum requirement of $150.00 to place an order.
Please etransfer or bring cash to place your deposit. Etransfers can be sent to info@sassyandsweet.ca Cash deposits can be made by arranging a drop off time via email which will include an address.
Orders/deposits are taken on a first come first serve basis. Again the order can not be confirmed until all details are confirmed. The pickup time will be set as your pickup appointment, failure to arrive on time (within 15 minutes of scheduled time) may result in your order being delayed due to other orders, pickup will be rescheduled at the earliest convenience of Sassy and Sweet which may be the next day.
Your quote is valid for one week.
Again, orders are not confirmed until a deposit is received. Please read all FAQ’s and Policies listed on Www.sassyandsweet.ca. Placing your deposit confirms that you have read and agree to these policies. Once the order is confirmed and the deposit has been made, no changes or cancellations can be made.
All pickups are currently no contact for your safety. For your pickup appointment since it will be no contact, please text me at 647-746-9236 (This number is for pick ups only, all orders are accepted only by email to info@sassyandsweet.ca) when you arrive in the driveway. Wait while I place the order outside for you and I will send you a confirmation text in response that it is ready for you. This will help the order avoid sitting outside for any length of time.

Consultations
I offer two options in terms of consultations for wedding orders of $600.00 or more: The first is a $70.00 option. This includes a one hour facetime/zoom consultation where we would sit down and discuss all your options and design ideas. It also includes a sample of 12 mini cupcakes in up to four basic flavours for you to pick up.
The second option would be to pickup the sample mini cupcakes, again 12 mini cupcakes in up to four basic flavours for $27.00. This option is recommended for those with a design in mind who are really just interested in a tasting.
In both options, if you do choose to order and your order total is a minimum of $600.00, you will be credited the $27.00 to the overall cost of the cake. If you do not meet the order minimum, a tasting can still be ordered but the payment will not be refunded.
Tastings for signature flavours are not available at this time.
Payment
A 50% non refundable deposit must be made to confirm the order. The remaining 50% will be due a minimum of three weeks prior to the event date. Once the order is confirmed and the deposit has been made, no changes or cancellations can be made. It is your responsibility to make the final payment. If full payment is not received three weeks prior to the event date the order will be incomplete and cancelled and the deposit will not be refunded.
If renting stands, a deposit is required (the cost dependent on the type of stand) in addition to the rental fee. The stand must be returned within 1 week of the event date to Sassy and Sweet in the same condition in which it was rented in order for the deposit to be returned.
Delivery
You have the option to pick up your cake and desserts or have your order delivered. Delivery is available for orders over $600.00. Delivery comes at an additional cost based on your order as well as the distance of your venue.
If you choose to pick up your order, Sassy and Sweet is no longer responsible once the order has left the facility. If any damage occurs after pickup or during transport it is the clients responsibility.
Choosing to have your order delivered is like adding an insurance policy. If Sassy and Sweet delivers your cake, we are responsible for delivery and transport. If any issues or damage occurs it is our responsibility to fix or repair the cake to its original state. If the cake is damaged beyond repair a full refund will be issued.
Once your cake has been delivered and set up, a representative from the venue must be available to sign a contract. This contract states that the venue is now responsible for the cake and any damage that occurs is no longer the responsibility of Sassy and Sweet.
